Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” (Albert Einstein)

New Fiction presents young contemporary artists that remind us of the value of a good game of hop-skotch – or a deviously elaborate construction of “cats-cradle”. The boundaries between child and adult, between promise and reality, are explored. These “day-dreams” realized, remind us of the potentials of pure, simplistic imagination in forming our most potent and lasting personal narratives. Often the first questions we ask become the most important.
